"I'm writing to you so share some news. February 2020 I was diagnosed with early stage multiple myeloma (52 years old). It was a total shock, as I'm extremely health cautious, in shape, don't eat gluten, limited sugar, I know by body well, use all different types of natural supplements, do acupuncture monthly, take mud baths etc…. you get the picture.

My MM Specialist wanted to start treatment March but delayed it until June (due to Covid). I was very thankful for the delay as I knew I could use this time to get my body ready for the chemo. "In late October of 2013, we learned that Beverly, my wife, had advanced ovarian cancer. She was not into natural remedies so we did just as the doctors ordered. She had surgery and then chemo; then another type of chemo. There was NEVER any good news. On the 15th of March, 2014, her oncologist told me that she would not see April and in fact was only a few days from dying. When dealing with ovarian cancer, quite often they have to do a paracentesis. Growing cancer emits a by-product that builds up in the abdomen and must be removed. It is a fluid. They do a sonogram to locate a long needle to drain off the fluid. Before we left the hospital, they installed a permanent tube so that I could drain the fluid off myself. They never take them out because it is only for a very few days before death occurs. When we had been on the elixirs and other products for a week, she stopped making fluid. I called and asked if we had already killed the cancer. No, not in one week, why do you ask? I said she stopped making fluid. He said we had her body adjusted to take the fluid out as urine. She was urinating a lot more. I took her back to the hospital to have the tube removed awhile after we went home.

There came a day when she walked by herself which hadn't been done in months. On our 45th anniversary, June 7th 2014, I took her in her wheelchair to Olive Garden! I was diagnosed with Stage 3 grade 3 Endometrial cancer in January 2018 and had a total hysterectomy. "After being told she had squamous cell carcinoma on her lower eye lid, my sister had 2 surgeries on the eye and the doctor told her the only way to be certain he got it all was to have the entire eye removed, to the bone. I asked if he knew where the cancer was in the eye and he said no, there may not be any, the radiation would be done all around the eye incase there was any cells missed. Then I asked the question [the CFS specialist] said to ask,"what will the radiation do to the tissue around and in the eye. He lowered his head and said, "yeah, good question". It could cause nerve damage, blindness, permanently blurred vision , and more, after I wasn't listening anymore. I asked why they couldn't check first to see if there was cancer there. He said it would be a waste of a MRI because it may not show up.

So, we three sisters left, bewildered. My sister is 84 and of very sound mind, and the affected eye is the one she sees out of best. By the time we reached her house it was decided we're sticking with what we see, working. We don't know what's ahead but I thank God every night since CFS took the time to listen and suggest, for the results we've had so far. "I wanted to let you know that I saw my oncologist this morning to discuss the results of CT Chest and Bone Scan. Here are the key points that can be seen when the April 29th CT Chest and the July 14th Chest and Bone scans are compared: (I will also be including the comparisons that the oncologist made that are not written on the "Final Report".) April 29th was when I was at the emergency room due to heavy bleeding emanating from my left breast wound.

1. The doctor measured the highest point (vertically) of my breast tumor from images of the previous CT to be at 31 mm. It now has gone down to 19 mm. So, it's one third shorter in height.
2. June 30th was my previous appointment and he said today that the wound looked much better and smaller. It is flat and does not have the mounds that looked like inflamed wound. He measured it again. If I heard right (I was so excited, I forgot the exact numbers), previously it was 4.5 X 4.5 cm. And now, he said it's at 3.5 X 3.5 cm. But, I am measuring it now, and looks more like 3,5 X 4.5. The open wound has completely healed, and dry to the touch, no more "sticky" feel to it. The red part only measures about 1/8 of an in in diameter. The rest are patches of light pink, and purplish gray skin. The light pink part even peeled off this morning to reveal another light pink layer. I asked my doctor if that is new skin growing, to which he replied , "I don't know", This was a little boggling to me. He just said that the skin will not grow back to the original color due to it being damaged tissue as a result of the cancer. I showed him my completely clean dressing without any blood. He said that I do not need to put any dressing anymore. He added that cancer causes bleeding. So, only 19 days have passed since he last saw me, but the improvement to the wound is just outright amazing!
3. Blood test again was done last July 11th. I am no longer anemic. My three previous blood tests taken in the past two months were also good but my white blood count was a little low at 2000+. But this July 11th saw an increase to 4000+ which is normal.
4. Now a brief comparison of the April 29th and July 14th scans-
1. There were four spots on my lungs. The biggest one was at 6-7 mm in size. Now, it is at less than 3mm. The second - " a subtle nodular focus- has decreased in size (no numbers are available. NO mention of the other two nodules.
2. Final Report states that " Decrease in the soft tissue regions of the left breast is seen.
3. Re the Bone Scan - a new spot on my spine. HOWEVER, the doctor said that from his experience with his other patients - this is a sign of healing! The bone sometimes does this when it's healing. He was very positive about it.

Furthermore, he added that generally speaking, cancer cells act the same way. If it's shrinking and the body is healing in one part, it should be the same for the other part/organs.
